Residents identify watershed issues and concerns in small group break-out sessions.
Community Focus Event. In March 2005, more than 120 citizens from diverse backgrounds came together at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center. This focus of this event was to engage the participants in identifying natural resource issues of concern to them in the Gallatin watershed.

Ground-Water/Surface Water Interaction Panel & Community Roundtable.Fifty citizens attended the Greater Gallatin Watershed Council’s 2005 Annual Meeting in June to hear a diverse panel of experts explain their perspectives on the current status of knowledge about ground water/surface water interactions in the watershed, what is needed to resolve conflicts, and the role of scientific research on these issues.
