Lower Gallatin TMDL PLanning Area

The Greater Gallatin Watershed Council has been selected by Montana DEQ to provide the local leadership in state-mandated water quality restoration planning for the Gallatin watershed.  The Gallatin watershed has been divided into two planning areas by DEQ:  Upper Gallatin and Lower Gallatin.  The Blue Water Task Force is the other local watershed group that has been selected to provide the local leadership for the Upper Gallatin TMDL Planning Area.  GGWC and BWTF will work closely together to make sure the water quality restoration plans for the two planning areas mesh together to provide the ultimate benefit for the entire Gallatin watershed.
