The Greater Gallatin Watershed Council is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Thanks to governmental entities like Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, the Gallatin Conservation District, the Montana Association of Conservation Districts, Montana Department of Environmental Quality, private foundations like the Cinnabar Foundation, Taylor Foundation, the Gilhousen Foundation, and generous individual donors, the GGWC has been able to carry out its mission and conduct a variety of activities.
However, in order to expand existing programs and develop new ones, like a volunteer water monitoring program, we need your help! Consider contributing to a local organization working to promote stewardship, community partnering and collaboration, and local natural resource conservation.
Check out our Accomplishments, Projects & Activities and see our Workplan for details.
To continue building upon our past successes, and moving forward to meet new challenges, we need your help!
